April 12th

Easter morning was one of the prettiest mornings we had had in weeks. I bought the girls non-traditional Easter dresses so they could get more use out of them. They looked so cute. Sydney's pose was her idea. :-)

April 11th

We started out Saturday with an Easter egg hunt at the country club. We stayed for the children's buffet. It was a lot of fun. Meg was scared of the Easter Bunny. Later in the day we went to the Pacers' game. Chris was given 12th row tickets. We had a lot of fun. The girls did great.

April 9th

Sydney had her first t-ball practice. She was so excited to go. It was cold and dreary outside.

April 8th

Peonies are one of my favorite flowers. Mine in the front flower beds have started to sprout up.

April 7th

Sydney brought home her report card today. She got all "E"s. We were so proud of her. She knew all but one of her letter sounds, recognized all letters (Upper & lower case), and knew all of her sight words and all BUT TWO of her bonus sight words! She loves school. Chris decided that we would go out to Dairy Queen to celebrate. The girls love to sit by the window & wave at the cars that go by after stopping at the drive-thru.

April 6th

Snow! Seriously? What is it doing snowing in April?

April 5th

Today was a great day. We got to see Gabe for the first time since he got home. Kent came over for lunch. Lots of fun playing Wii and spending time together.

April 4th

I went for my longest run EVER. My longest outside run was 5K back the summer after Megan was born. My longest run since getting back to running was 2 miles outside & 5 miles on the treadmill. So I was nervous to attempt 7 miles. I did it. Yes, there were several short periods of walking. But I did it.

April 3rd

Sydney had a fieldtrip to Ball State. Every student got to assemble a game. There was drilling, sanding and sawing. It was a lot of fun.

April 2nd

The girls had a dentist appointment today. Sydney did her normal great job. Meg was nervous to go for some reason. She did so well last time. Sydney got a good report but was referred to an orthodontist. Meg has two small spots that need attention. Ugh

April 1st

Megan took a picture of Macy look for food scraps in the dishwasher. Crazy dog.
