February 28th

Tammy & PT gave Megan her birthday gift on Sunday. It was this outfit. I cannot count how many times Megan has worn it. You can kind of see that she is wearing the headband as a necklace.

February 27th

My calendar that is hanging on the refrigerator. It is kind of hard to see how many things I have written on it. Busy month!

February 26th

Sydney's kindergarten class had a dentist visit. So the last few days Sydney has been all about teeth. Today she brought home a goodie bag. They pulled out the Dora couch and Megan laid down like the patient and Sydney sat on a chair at her head and pretended to brush her teeth. They had the whole thing worked out.

Sydney made this beautiful card for me. She even found one of my paper flowers and inked it just like I do when I am making scrapbook pages. She has the scrapping bug.

February 22nd

After our plane landed. We were still able to keep our plans for the girls to drive down to see Tammy & PT. This was a surprise until Sunday for the girls. I think it helped all of us that the weekend ended on a positive note. But it was even harder for the girls to leave Tammy after not seeing her for so long.

This will be a day with mutiple pictures. That is a picture of Tammy's shoe & the view outside our window on the flight out. I think Tammy & I were so goofy because we were just so glad to see each other. It seems like years since they moved.

This is Sydney with her jazz dance class teacher, Cara. Sydney has really enjoyed this class.

February 17th

Today was Megan's birthday. My how three years fly by. Megan had her special day at preschool. She was so excited. Of course she wanted yellow cookies, plates & napkins. Then we had Kiki over for supper.

February 16th

This morning, Megan was dressed in one of the new dresses that Aunt Kiki got Megan for her birthday. She was showing off with the sunglasses on.

That afternoon the girls put on their old Miss Tammy "pjammies". These were the jammies that Tammy bought the girls Christmas 2007. Obviously the "pjammies" are way too small especially on Megan.

I didn't get permission from the parents from other children on the layouts. I didn't want to post their children's pictures to the web without their permission hence the white squares.

February 14th

Chris surprised us and took us out for dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise. The girls behaved very well. We had a lot of fun.

February 13th

Today was Sydney's Valentine's Day party at school. This is her first school party that I have been able to go to. It was a lot of fun. Mrs Nixon gave each student the book "Have You Filled A Bucket Today?" I love the idea behind this book. It is a great way for Chris & I to teach the girls how to be kind and build up others.

February 12th

Beef! The girls & I went to pick up our quarter of beef this afternoon when Sydney got home from school. We enjoy the beef so much more than the junk that you get from the store. Ours is much more lean. So lean that we don't even have any fat to drain off the ground beef.

The picture is kind of deceptive. The left tub has 57 pounds of hamburger in it! The right tub has all of our steaks, roasts and cubed steaks. Yummy!

Our last quarter of beef lasted us about 18 months. And the end of that we didn't have a grill or we would have used it up a lot faster. Can't wait for a new grill!

Sydney started Jazz class this year. These are her shoes. Not too cute, huh? Sydney has done so well with this class. She has enjoyed it. We can't wait for her recital in June!

Febuary 10th

Today was the Valentine's Day party at the preschool. I told Megan that I would come. Julie couldn't make it so Nate sat with Megs and me.

February 9th

Rob & Julie asked us to watch Maddie & Nate for a few hours on Monday night. The kids all played very well together. Chris & I didn't have to break up one fight or settle one argument.

December 2008

I am taking a new approach to some of my scrapping. I am sooooo far behind due to time constraints. Project 365 inspired this idea. I am going to do a monthly summary page of every month and do individual layouts of any important events (first day of school, Christmas, birthdays etc.)

Nothing better than Pizza King's pizza and their half-baked bread sticks with cheese. We usually get half Royal feast and half pepperoni. Yummy~

The girls went to Grandma Wenger's this morning and bake Valentine's cookies. I think they must have ate a dozen cookies eat. They were so proud of their creations.

February 6th

The girls both received some fingernail polish for Christmas. I decided that we needed to do something fun. So I painted the girls fingernails and toenails. Megan picked out her yellow aka gold polish. Sydney wanted alternating pink & purple.

February 5th

Please say this isn't chicken pox??????? This is a picture of Sydney's arm. She has about 20 spots on her back, one on her bum, and one on her leg.

February 4th

This morning Megan wanted M&Ms for breakfast. I told her no. She got in the pantry to get out the jar of M&Ms. Since she was trying to get them, I moved them to a cabinet that was higher. Megan got mad and started throwing a fit. She pulled a kitchen chair by the cabinet and was trying to climb up on the cabinet all for the M&Ms. This girl really likes chocolate.

February 3rd

Whenever we go to Walmart, Megan always wants to "ride" in the pink bus. I have never put money in it since she enjoys just sitting in it. The problem is getting her out of the bus so we can leave.

February 2nd

I thought I knew what today's picture was going to be. Megan wore a pair of pants that Kiki made for her. I told Megan that we had to get some pictures for Kiki. That is when I got this cute pose.

Then tonight, Chris & the girls were playing Wii Fit. One of Megan's favorite games is the downhill skiing. (No, I normally don't let her run around naked. ) She is holding the pose and even was holding the remote behind her back just like Chris does.

February 1st

The snow melted just enough that it was good snowman making snow. Unfortunately, all of the snowman "parts" were in the barn. But the girls had fun playing in the snow and it was nice that it wasn't so cold.
