June 8th

So hard to believe that Dad has been gone 8 years.

June 7th

Our first trip to the pool for the summer. We had a great time at the BBQ up on the patio. Yummy chicken!

Week of June 7th

June 6th

Kent was able to come to Sydney's t-ball game. The girls were so happy that he could come.

June 5th

Time to head home. We were waiting on Magical Express to pick us up to take us to the airport. Sad to go home.

June 4th

Belle has been Megan's favorite princess ever since we had breakfast at Norway Aukerhause last May. Meg has been obsessed with yellow too since then. Hmmm. I wonder why.

June 3rd

After breakfast at Cinderella's castle for breakfast: Chris & his two princesses.

June 2nd

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. Every morning they have a family help the lodge ranger raise the flags on top of the lodge. We were lucky enough to be chose as the flag family on June 2nd. What an experience. Ranger Don was so nice. Chris got to help raise the American Flag. The girls were hot and hungry and didn't have much patience hearing the history and not-so-well known facts that Don was telling us.

"Cupcake" shirt even went with us to Disney.

February 22nd-28th

April 12th

Easter morning was one of the prettiest mornings we had had in weeks. I bought the girls non-traditional Easter dresses so they could get more use out of them. They looked so cute. Sydney's pose was her idea. :-)

April 11th

We started out Saturday with an Easter egg hunt at the country club. We stayed for the children's buffet. It was a lot of fun. Meg was scared of the Easter Bunny. Later in the day we went to the Pacers' game. Chris was given 12th row tickets. We had a lot of fun. The girls did great.

April 9th

Sydney had her first t-ball practice. She was so excited to go. It was cold and dreary outside.

April 8th

Peonies are one of my favorite flowers. Mine in the front flower beds have started to sprout up.

April 7th

Sydney brought home her report card today. She got all "E"s. We were so proud of her. She knew all but one of her letter sounds, recognized all letters (Upper & lower case), and knew all of her sight words and all BUT TWO of her bonus sight words! She loves school. Chris decided that we would go out to Dairy Queen to celebrate. The girls love to sit by the window & wave at the cars that go by after stopping at the drive-thru.

April 6th

Snow! Seriously? What is it doing snowing in April?

April 5th

Today was a great day. We got to see Gabe for the first time since he got home. Kent came over for lunch. Lots of fun playing Wii and spending time together.

April 4th

I went for my longest run EVER. My longest outside run was 5K back the summer after Megan was born. My longest run since getting back to running was 2 miles outside & 5 miles on the treadmill. So I was nervous to attempt 7 miles. I did it. Yes, there were several short periods of walking. But I did it.

April 3rd

Sydney had a fieldtrip to Ball State. Every student got to assemble a game. There was drilling, sanding and sawing. It was a lot of fun.

April 2nd

The girls had a dentist appointment today. Sydney did her normal great job. Meg was nervous to go for some reason. She did so well last time. Sydney got a good report but was referred to an orthodontist. Meg has two small spots that need attention. Ugh

April 1st

Megan took a picture of Macy look for food scraps in the dishwasher. Crazy dog.

March 31st

Shelley, Kim & I went out for dinner. It was so good to get together with them. I have missed them.

March 30th

Meg was taking a nap on the couch. She woke up & sat up & then promptly went back to sleep.

Sydney went outside & picked this flower for me. :-)

March 28th

I had a mandatory staff meeting in Indy for Weight Watchers. Krista rode down with me so it was nice not to have to drive both ways by myself.

March 27th

No, it's not blood. I was getting the girls a fruit snack out of the pantry. My raspberry syrup fell out and the bottle opened. It was such a sticky mess. I was worried that it was going to stain the tile. Thankfully it didn't.

March 26th

Our neighbors, Charlie & Christy got the girls this treat. It is cookies. So believable. Looks just like dog food.

March 25th

Out for lunch. Just shows how much of a daddy's girl Megan is.
